Mini-plot is over - Posted on 05 Jun 2007 by Leia
The Petpet Island plot is over.
It's time for the Altador Cup! Fight for your chosen team until your hand falls off from clicking so much.
At least they've given us folks who are terrible at Yooyuball some other game choices.

GO HAUNTED WOODS!

New Plot Step!! - Posted on 30 May 2007 by Leia
Looks like there is a new (pretty simple, relatively) plot step.
Head to your maze (back to your ship). At the ship, you should now have a shell in your inventory. Drag it onto the ship.

Ta-daaaa!!!
Then... go do a really difficult battle.

Lost Isle Plot - Posted on 23 May 2007 by Leia
Alright, so I've been keeping up with the plot the best that I can and I've done all the puzzle steps so far. I might as well try to keep you updated while I still remember what I did.

The first is a series of puzzles that are just like the game Shapeshifter. You arrange the items on the deck into squares. There are 3 levels of difficulty-- a 4x4 block square, a 5x5, and a 6x6. The 6x6 takes a while, so stick with it.
The second is a set of puzzles that are just like the old (non-Neo) game Mastermind. It is just like the Neo game Codebreakers, now Time Tunnel. Use logic to decipher the code. It is nearly impossible without writing down the combinations you've tried. Also, the second puzzle deals with duplicates in a terrible manner, and I admit that I had to get someone to help me work it out. You may need a patient parent or friendly genius to help you work through this one.
Today's puzzle is a maze. If you did the Haunted Woods Plot, you'll be familiar with it. This time you're collecting different items, though, instead of a lot of the same few items. First, go to the journal, and click "view source." Do a Ctrl+F to find "jawbone" in the source. Then copy and paste whatever is in between the quotation marks "get_jawboneblahblahblahblah" and paste it after "http://www.neopets.com/mip" in the address bar of your browser.
This should give you the jawbone and vines when you go to the maze. You'll have 2 random items (with the jawbone and vines, 4 total) when you start. Find all the other ones. Some people suggest drawing out a map but I clicked around randomly. While it probably took longer, it was mindless. It probably took me about 45 minutes, while I was doing other things at the same time.
When you get to the branch across the path, use the jawbone to saw through it.
You should end up with:
Vines, Jawbone, Bucket thing, Bucket, Branch, Metal Hammer, Planks, Steering Wheel, and Thorn Things.
Drag them onto the ship until they work. Vines is first, then planks, thorns, hammer, bucket.. uh... branch.... bucket thing... wheel... I don't know. If I'm wrong, just use trial and error.
There have also been some battledome things but none of my pets are good fighters so.... yeah.

New Ask Kad! - Posted on 20 Mar 2007 by Leia
What did I tell you! I managed to do it! Sure enough, there is a brand spankin' new Ask Kad. It's super super long, and took me quite a while. Thanks for sending in all your great questions!

Draik egg? Eh?
I've also added a permanent link on the main Ask Kad page as well as the submit a question page for "How do I get a Kadoatie?" This is by far the most common question Kadoatie gets asked. Maybe people will go read the answer instead of asking again. ^_^

New Layout (obviously) - Posted on 10 Mar 2007 by Leia
As hard as it was to let go my death grip on the Halloween layout, I finally realized it was time for something new. This one should be less obvious if I don't get around to changing it for a while, too. >:D
Spring break is coming up next week, so hopefully I'll get some Ask Kadoatie done (honestly, 90% of the questions are "How do I get a Kadoatie?"). Hope all you guys have a great spring break, too!
Snowickle.org is being updated fairly regularly, and I just put some new layouts up there today (go check out "Leia's lookups" on the sidebar).

There are a few tiny page viewing errors that show up in IE because IE doesn't always read CSS right. When I tried to fix these little things, everything majorly got screwed up all over the place, so sorry IE users, but you should get a cooler browser. Like Opera. It's free, and awesome! And you can see this site and most other sites better! 100% BONUS!
