Does the Fruit Machine give out better items at certain times?

No, the Fruit Machine is completely random. Coltzan's Shrine used to give out better things at certain times of the day (at midnight you could win 1,000,000 NP!) but it doesn't any longer.

How do I change my petpet's name?

In the Basic Guide, our site covers how to change petpet names. Go to your quickref, select the petpet you wish to change the name of, and click on it. A screen will come up that allows you to change its name.

What color should I paint my pets?

I think your Tonu and Grundo should both be Faerie, because they are the best colors for them. Your Korbat should be Mutant, in memory of my beloved Korbat Fostler, who I entered into the Beauty Contest only to accidentally zap him into a Cybunny 2 days in so that he couldn't be voted for anymore. The Aisha should be Baby, because Baby Aishas are even more squinty-eyed than adult ones.
